Sweden Helps Preserve Vietnamese Traditional Music

Sweden is to invest US$ 7 million between now and the year 2010 to help preserve traditional music under a program developed to stregthen ties between the two countries.
Under the project, Swedish experts will help record various examples of Vietnamese traditional music and collaborate with the Vietnam Music Institute to train staff in the collection of folk music works and organising traditional music festivals.
