Danida will continue support for Vietnam’s Central Institute of Economic Management (CIEM), a government think-tank on economic policy, with a second phase project of a value of DKK 19 million.
This five-year project aims to provide the Government of Vietnam with policy advice in general and on qualified economic reforms in particular.
Recently, the President of the CIEM, Dr. Dinh Van An, and Development Counselor, Mr. Henrik Vistisen, launched the second phase of the project entitled “Strengthening the Development Research and Policy Analysis of CIEM”.
CIEM is the implementing agency of the project. In addition to the Department of Economics (DoE) at the University of Copenhagen, the Nordic Institute of Asian Studies (NIAS) also participates in the project as an international counterpart.
