Denmark Reveals 2005 Vietnam Aid Expenses

Danida has finished counting its expenses in Vietnam for the year 2005. The total amount spent on development aid in Vietnam was 381 million DKK (equivalent to approx. 63.5 million USD).
This makes Vietnam one of the world’s largest receivers of Danish aid last year – the biggest receiver in Asia. The total amount includes development assistance (281.5 million DKK),  environmental assistance (56.3 million DKK), Private Sector programmes (25.7 million DKK), and other activities such as technical assistance, mixed credits, NGO-assistance and research (17.5 million DKK).
