The Swedish film will play in Hanoi May 15 with Vietnamese dubbing and on May 16 with the original Swedish text and English subtitles. In Ho Chi Minh City, it will be screened on May 21 with Vietnamese dubbing and on May 22 with the original Swedish text and English subtitles.
The Festival, which runs until May 28, features 12 films including two winners of Oscar and Cesar awards in 2006. All the films are on screen at the National Cinema Centre in Hanoi and at the Galaxy Cinema in Ho Chi Minh City.
Tickets are free and available at the Goethe Institute and the British Council in Hanoi as well as the Galaxy Cinema in HCM City.
This biennial European Film Festival, organized by the Delegation of the European Commission to Vietnam and Embassies of European Union Member States, is recognized as one of the most successful multi-cultural events in Vietnam.
The Festival portrays the diversity of European cinema to the Vietnamese audience, thus contributing to enhancing mutual understanding between peoples of Vietnam and the European Union.
