Finnish Film Shown at Vietnam’s European Film festival

From May 10 to May 28 cinema fans in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City are again to be charmed by the films of the 5th European Film Festival. Among the 12 feature films is “Dog Nail Clipper” from Finland.
     The Finnish film will play at the National Cinema Centre in Hanoi on Saturday May 13 at 8 PM with Vietnamese dubbing and on Sunday May 14 also at 8 PM in the original Finnish language and with English subtitles. In Ho Chi Minh City the film will play at the Galaxy Cinema on Friday May 19 at 5 PM with Vietnamese dubbing and on Saturday May 20 at 9 PM in Danish with English subtitles.
Tickets are free and available at the Goethe Institute and the British Council in Hanoi as well as the Galaxy Cinema in HCM City (see specific addresses by clicking on the link below).
     The European Film Festival is organized by the Delegation of the European Commission to Vietnam and embassies of European Union Member States. It is recognized as one of the most successful multi-cultural events in Vietnam.
     The Festival portrays the diversity of European cinema to the Vietnamese audience, thus contributing to enhancing mutual understanding between peoples of Vietnam and the European Union.
     The remaining feature films come from Austria, Belgium, France, Denmark, Germany, Italy, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Sweden, Spain, and the United Kingdom.
