Vietnamese businesses in textile, footwear, crafts and interior decoration sector can get advantage from an entrepreneurs program under coordination of Federation of Norwegian Commercial and Service Enterprises, Swedish Chamber of Commerce and the Ho Chi Minh City-branched Vietnamese Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI).
This program is started in June to improve exporter’s competitive edge and scheduled to finish by 2008.
Participating enterprises will have the opportunity to meet with giant North European distributors to learn more about market trends and present products at exhibitions in Oslo, Stockholm and Copenhagen.
National strategic export industries will receive training courses on enhancement of competitive capacity and consultation in designs favored by North European consumers.
The program is being implemented in HCMC and Hanoi, Vietnam’s two urban and industrial centers.
