One Swede Killed In Java Tsunami

Kent Chlnet, 46 years old, from Sweden has been reported as one of four foreigners who were killed in Tsunami hit in Java island of Indonesia, on Monday afternoon.
Three other foreigners are one from the Netherlands, and two from Pakistan. They were among the at least 201 people killed in this tidal waves hitting Pangandaran beach in South Ciamis District of West Java.
The tsunami also injured at least 295 people and destroyed many tourism infrastructures, especially restaurants, cafes, fish markets, and hotels in Krapyak Beach, West Beach, East Beach, Batu Hiu, Karang Tirta, Bojong Salawe, Batu Karas, Bulak Banda, Legok, and Bulak Laut Pangandaran.
Thousands of local residents fleeing their homes are currently being accommodated in emergency makeshift tents and barracks in Cijulang, Kali Pucung, Parigi, and Cidamulih.
The search and rescue teams are currently digging the debris of ruined hotels and houses to look for more bodies possibly trapped in the debris. Tens of people were reportedly missing in the disaster.
