Legal Help for James Christensen

“I want to help this man,” says Kamthorn Ounhirunskul, former Vice President of Danish-Thai Chamber of Commerce and founding partner of the law firm Kamthorn, Surachet & Somsak.
“The case of James Christensen seems to be an unfortunate combination of events that we need to see if we can straighten out.”
Khun Kamthorn has been a prominent lawyer for several Danish individuals and companies over the years. His involvement with the Danish community led to his election as Vice President of the Danish Thai Chamber of Commerce in the late 1990’s.
Khun Kamthorn has been in touch with the lawyer, Pongsak Suthanin, who was James Christensen’s defense lawyer during the first trial of the case. A meeting between the two lawyers and Khun Kamthorn’s litigation expert, Khun Sunee Srichantra on Tuesday will be an important purpose of the visit to Langsuan.
Apart from that, Khun Kamthorn will visit James in the prison, arranged by the Royal Danish Embassy, as well as contact other persons involved in the case.
Khun Kamthorn and Khun Sunee will be accompanied by Gregers Moller, publisher of ScandAsia and other media serving the Scandinavian community in South East Asia. Gregers Moller is heading an effort to raise funds in the Scandinavian community to get the unfortunate Dane released on bail and have his case appealed.
The fund raising aims at 500.000 baht. So far, 189.000 baht has been donated or pledged. To support this donation, please click here:
