Sick Badminton Star Took the Championship

He arrived in Kuala Lumpur last week on a stretcher, spending the first few days in a hospital bed. This week, Peter Gade leaves Malaysia’s capitol as the new-crowned champion of the year’s first Super Series, the Malaysian Open.
     The remarkable comeback was completed when the Danish badminton star defeated his Chinese opponent in the final, Bao Chunlai. It took Peter Gade 53 minutes to win the match with two sets to one (21-15, 17-21, and 21-14).
