Finnish Golfer heads for Phuket after Indonesian Victory

Finland’s 27 year old Mikko Ilonen won a great victory Sunday February 18th, as he was announced the winner of Indonesia Open in Jakarta and the first prize of $ 177,000. Ilonen is thereby the first Finn won the Asian Tour and European Tour with a 9-under-par 275 at the Damai Indah Golf and Country Club.
   Ilonen fired birdies on the fifth and seventh holes before dropping a shot on No. 8. He birdied the 13th and parred the 14th hole before afternoon play was suspended due to storms.
   When play resumed nearly two hours later, Ilonen was steady, winning despite a bogey on the final hole.
   Next stop on the 2007 Asian Tour is Johnnie Walker Open which is being played in Phuket from March 1st to March 4th. The total amount of prizes in Phuket is $ 2.5 million.
