Handling Chemicals The Swedish Way

Chemicals inspectors from Indonesia, Cambodia, China, Laos, Nepal, Vietnam and Thailand are visiting the Swedish Chemicals Inspectorate for three weeks this March. The 27 inspectors represent the chemicals inspections authorities in each their home country.
The purpose of the visit is to take part in the first part of the education in “Strategies for Chemicals Administration” which is incorporated in the SIDA program for each country.
The aim is capacity building in the participoating countries and the participants have therefore been selected at a level where they are able to initiate and carry out management changes.
Before coming to Sweden, each of the 27 participants were given the task to outline a possible chgange of procedure in their home country which they could refine and finalize during the stay in Sweden.
