Vietnamese Artisans to Build Stone Bridge in Norway

Ten artisans of the Da Nang Sculpture Association have left Vietnam to Norway to build a Vietnamese old-styled stone bridge in the centre of Tolga City.
The 11m long and 3m wide bridge, designed in a rainbow form, will be constructed mostly with 100 tons of white granite stone from Tolga City and 20 tons red granite from Da Nang City. It is expected to be finished in August 2007.
These ten artisans are from the Non Nuoc stone village in the central city of Da Nang which products are admired at home and abroad. The village now sees 300 households in the business with around 3,000 laborers.
