Dung Quat Vocational School has been granted a loan of almost 4 million USD by the Prime Minister. The money, which is meant for buying equipment for the school, is being drawn from Danish Danida aid. The Danish aid to the school was started in 2004 and the purpose of the project was to train and educate the work force in the new industrial area of Dung Quat.
The project is expected to contribute to the development of the entire region, according to the project information of Danida. The Danish involvement in the project which is in the area of 9 million Danish kroner is to be terminated this year.
