The Danish banking group, BankInvest has announced the deal signed with Vietnam local insurer, AAA Assurance Corporation, to become its strategic foreign partner on May 22, 2007.
Under the deal, BankInvest Group will help AAA Insurance Joint Stock Company in IT system improvement, human resources training and business risk management.
The Danish banking group will also support the local insurer to develop post-sale services, new insurance products and market AAA insurance policies to potential clients including those from Denmark.
This year AAA will raise its chartered capital from VND80 billion to VND380 billion via a share issue which BankInvest will buy two million shares.
BankInvest plans to raise another US$200 million fund with a priority for Vietnam.
