Director-General for Trade at the Swedish Ministry for Foreign Affairs, Anders Ahnlid, visited Bangkok for the annual meeting in the Joint Cooperation Committee under the Joint Plan of Action between Sweden and Thailand from May 9-11.
Consisting of representatives from the Swedish and the Thai Ministry for Foreign Affairs which was headed by Deputy Permanent Secretary Mrs Cholchineepan Chiranon, the meeting discussed the development of the cooperations already laid out by the Thai and Swedish Foreign Ministers in the Swedish-Thai Joint Plan of Action such as trade, ICT, education, design and police cooperation.
The Director-General used his visit in Thailand to learn more about the economy and business environment through talks with the Bank of Thailand, The Thai Chamber of Commerce and Board of Trade as well as with Swedish companies represented in Thailand.
