Oriflame See Higher Profit in Asia Market
Oriflame’s local currency sales for Asia in the second quarter increased by 60% driven by a 53% increase in the average sales force and a 4% increase in productivity. Euro sales increased by 53% to €16.0m (€10.4m). Oriflame posted very strong growth in all countries and particularly in India and Vietnam.
The strong sales trend is due to Oriflame’s focus on sales and recruitment processes which has led to many leaders in the region taking more responsibility for the training and recruitment of the sales force.
Operating profit increased to €0.9m as a result of positive scale benefits from higher sales.
