Danish Response to Indonesia’s Earthquake

A massive 7.9-magnitude earthquake struck off the west coast of Indonesia‘s Sumatra island on September 13, 2007 was felt by those working at the Danish embassy in Jakarta as reported by the Ambassador, Neils Erik Andersen.
Living in Jakarta, the Ambassador recollected that officials in the embassy felt the earthquake to a degree of “substantial disturbance” but there was no damage or any injury.
