Missing Danish Tourist Found Dead on Phuket

Danish tourist Henrik Rasmussen, 47, who went missing on Phuket, Thailand more than a week ago, was on Thursday evening found dead in a canal on Phuket. Mr Rasmussen, who suffers from Down syndrome, left the Royal Paradise Hotel on January 28 very early in the morning to look for his lost mobile phone.
The Danish tourist had arrived with his cousin and her husband for the vacation. The couple postponed their return to Denmark and together with a number of kind hearted volunteers they have during the past week distributed 400 posters on the island and searched all over following any clue they received.
The Police is now investigating if the Dane died by a tragic accident.
