The Norwegian Maritime Business Delegation (NMBD) was in Hanoi this week to attend the 4th international exhibition on shipbuilding, marine technology and transportation, Vietship.
Viet Nam News’ reporter, Tran Phuong Hoa, spoke to head of NMBD, Halvard Olafsen, who said that NMBD started attending the exhibition in 2002, when most Norwegians were still not aware of Vietnam’s shipping industry.
Vietnam was recently placed as one of the top five shipbuilding nations in the world by Fairplay magazine.
