Stolt-Nielsen Given Permission To Build Chemical Storage Terminal In Singapore

Stolt-Nielsen SA said it has been given the permission of the Singapore Economic Development Board to build a chemical storage terminal in Singapore.
    The project, which would see the terminal constructed on 15 hectares of vacant land on Jurong Island, is still subject to additional agreements with local authorities, the Norwegian shipping firm said.
    “The terminal is planned for completion during the second half of 2010 at which point it will the have a total capacity of 325,000 cubic metres of bulk liquid storage”, it added.
