Sanktification, the Swedish death metal band featuring current/former members of God Among Insects, In Batle and Soulldrainer, has inked a deal with the Singapore-based label Pulverised Records.
“We are really happy with what they are and have done for us so far, so this was an easy choice for us”, the group writes in a statement.”
Sanktification will enter Abyss studio in Sweden on July 7, 2008 with producers Tommy and Peter Tägtgren to begin recording its sophomore album for a fall release. The CD will be mixed by Peter and mastered by Dan Swanö. Guest musicians on the album include Secthdeamon (Zyklon, Myrkskog), Masse (a.k.a. Emperor Magus Caligula; Dark Funeral).
Sanktification’s debut album, “Misanthropic Salvation”, was released in 2003 through Remission Records.
