Margretheklubben considers name change

Margretheklubben – the Danish Women’s Network in Thailand – is considering a change of its name. The decission will be made on an extraordinary general meeting which will take place on 25 September 2003 at Admiral’s Pub & Restaurant on Sukhumvit Soi 18, Bangkok.
A formal invitation with suggestions of new names will be mailed directly to members prior to the meeting.
Another issue to be decided at the meeting relates to the charity donations of the club. For years, an important activity of Margretheklubben has been its yearly Christmas Bazaar at the Royal Danish Embassy, but in the bylaws of the club it is not quite clear, to what extent the board is authorized to donate the proceeds from this activity to people and organisations deemed in need of support.
      Anyone interested in joining the Danish women’s group should contact Chairwoman Helle Rantsen, 038 880 765 / 01 636 8165, [email protected] or Deputy Chairwoman Jonna Strand, 02 656 7883 / 06 776 0360, [email protected], Treasurer Lina Kim Sørensen, 02 969 3034 / 09 015 0375, [email protected] or Secretary Gitte Zebitz, 02 713 3175 / 01 932 1123, [email protected]
