Norwegian Embassy Staff Focus On Work Environment

The Royal
Norwegian Embassy in Manila
recently organised a one-day work environment seminar at the Filipinas Heritage
Library as part of the Embassy’s Action Plan to improve the office work
environment, create synergy, and enhance the job satisfaction of its employees.
It was the first time the embassy has organised such a seminar.
    The Center
for Leadership and Change, represented by Dr. Karen dela Cruz, acted as
facilitator during the seminar, entitled “Building Bridges – a Teambuilding
Program for the Royal Norwegian Embassy”.
    Aside from
internal working conditions, the seminar also included issues pertaining to
external relations with customers and users of embassy services. On the basis
of the seminar and a just recently conducted survey on the embassy’s work
environment, staff is now working on a new Action Plan which is to be completed
by the beginning of July.
