Kimi Gets Finnish Stamp Of Approval

Raikkonen achievement in becoming the latest Finnish driver to win the Formula
1 world championship last year is to be honoured by his country’s postal
service through a new set of stamps.
    A special
collection of stamps featuring the Ferrari driver, as part of a series to
celebrate the Finnish post service’s 370th birthday, will be issued next month
and appear on first-class mail.
    The
Raikkonen stamps include images of him driving his Ferrari and celebrating his
Malaysian Grand Prix victory on the podium in March, with the text ‘F1 World
Champion ’07 Kimi Raikkonen’ accompanying the pictures.
    Raikkonen
will be presented with his own set of personalised stamps on the Thursday of
the Belgian Grand Prix weekend, a day before they are released in Finland.
