A delegation of 20 Danish enterprises operating in the fields of construction materials, printing and packaging will visit Vietnam from October 6-11 to seek business opportunities.
According to the Danish Embassy in Hanoi, the delegation will attend a seminar on energy-saving and environmentally-friendly building materials, printing and packaging scheduled to take place in Hanoi on October 6.
The Danish businesses will also meet with some 200 Vietnamese partners in Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City and several localities to seek opportunities to set up joint ventures.
Any commitment reached to JV establishment will receive a maximum aid of 1 million USD from the Business-to-Business (B2B) Programme for implementation, the embassy said.
Established in 1997 by the Danish International Development Agency (DANIDA), the B2B programme aims to improve Vietnamese enterprises’ competitiveness, thus strengthening the country’s economic growth and poverty reduction
