A commemoration will be held to mark the sixth anniversary of the Bali bombing on Sunday, October 12, 2008.
The ceremony will take place in the garden of the Consulate General of Australia in Denpasar, Bali and will involve
remarks by the Australian Ambassador H.E. Bill Farmer and a period of silence, followed by a laying of wreaths and flowers. Sweden will be represented by the Honorary Consul of Sweden Mr Ida Bagus Ngurah Wijaya and the Consular Assistant of the Consulate of Sweden in Denpasar Ms Marie-Louise Olsson. Some visiting Swedish families related to two of the Swedish victims of the 2002 Bali bombing will also participate.
