Mogens Sørensen, the head of investigations at the Copenhagen police station in Bellahøj, Denmark, will be liaison officer for the five Nordic countries and coordinate investigations in Southeast Asia and Scandinavia.
The experienced criminal investigator will take on the position in Bangkok Thailand from January 1, 2009 on a two year contract.
Mogens Sørensen has worked in various locations within the Danish police. In the early 1990s, he was appointed as a Nordic liaison officer in Turkey.
