Danish Lifestyle At Central World

On the momentous occasion of the 150th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Denmark and Thailand, celebrations will include a Danish Lifestyle exhibition. Denmark is famous for its design and the new, innovative and creative products that Danish industries create.
     The Danish Lifestyle Exhibition will be showcased at Central World from 24th to 26th November in the Forum Zone on Level 1. The exhibition will be open to the public during normal opening hours of Central World. The exhibition will be officially opened in the presence of TRH the Crown Prince Couple of Denmark and will include displays by:
    Arla Foods is a global diary company whose products are sold in more than 100 countries, including Thailand. Arla is especially known for the high quality and consumer safety standards of its products. In the exhibition, the Lurpak Butter brand will be promoted.
    Bang & Olufsen is a manufacturer of high end audio, video, loudspeaker and telephone devices. B&O will exhibit their products in the setting of a living room giving a historical perspective of the B&O product range. The exhibit will showcase the story of Television through a range of B&O products depicting a timeline of the development of the B&O television from the very first to the latest model.
    Evita Peroni. Founded in 1988, Evita Peroni has developed into a strong and characteristic concept for women carrying high quality hair accessories, fashion jewels, eyewear and handbags.
    Evita Peroni will display some of their newest products. In the morning of the 25th of November, Evita Peroni will conduct a fashion show attended by HRH the Crown Princess of Denmark. Evita Peroni will also showcase their products with the help of models including demonstrations of the use of their products.
    Grundfos – Saving Energy, Saving our Earth. Grundfos is one of the world’s leading pump manufacturers, covering approximately 50 percent of the world market for circulation pumps. Grundfos has a very high environmental profile and incorporates energy savings and efficiency into every aspect of the company’s doing – from production to products. Following the company philosophy – Be- Think- Innovate – Grundfos will display an innovative model of a water supply system driven by renewable energy under the heading Saving Energy, Saving our Earth. The interactive system, which includes a 3 meter high model of a windmill, will demonstrate how renewable energy can be used to supply water in Thailand using Grundfos’ energy saving water pumps.
     Lego is famous worldwide as a company synonymous with toys that are creative and safe and that act as a learning aid for all children of all ages and stages of development. In the exhibition, LEGO will showcase some of their newest products including educational tools.
    SAS- Scandinavian Airlines International. Scandinavian Airlines International operates SAS flights with a focus on non-stop-traffic to/from and via Copenhagen and Stockholm. The aircraft fleet consists of Airbus 340-300s and Airbus 330-300s. Other destinations outside Scandinavia are New York, Chicago, Washington, Seattle, Bangkok, Beijing, Tokyo and soon Delhi and Dubai.
    In the exhibition, the work to be displayed at SAS’ booth will be creative displays made by their corporate clients and other partners – in particular by the Thai staffs who work at Danish/Scandinavian companies – of their impressions of Denmark and Scandinavia.
    The Zinker is the business name for Kim Michael’s artistic works. Kim Michael’s abstract paintings and sculptures have found great acclaim all over the world. Experimenting with all available materials on the earth, Kim Michael’s abstracts are influenced by his life’s experience and also his travels through India. Kim Michael sources some of the material he uses in his artwork from Thailand.
    In the exhibition, the artist will display some of his works.
