First Swedish Business Forum In Vietnam

Hanoi hosted a Vietnam-Sweden business forum Tuesday, the first such event held in Vietnam.
    The forum, held by the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI), was designed to outline to more than 10 Swedish companies the Vietnamese business environment and investment opportunities.
    The Swedish participants were major entrepreneurs in the fields of finance, banking, medical equipment, construction, real estate and telecommunications.
    Swedish Ambassador Rolf Bergman said cooperation between Vietnam and Sweden was now focused on tourism and culture. Bergman said in the future he hoped businesses from the two countries will increase investment and trade relations.
