SWEA Bangkok held the first ever SWEA KAN in Thailand on Sunday afternoon 16 November. SWEA KAN is a bazaar kind of event where members and others get an opportunity to present a wide variety of goods from home made food and second hand books to exclusive jewelery and pampering health treatments.
Much of the stuff was related to the Christmas season. Glogg and candle holders and Christmas puppets were among the most popular items.
“Next year, we will be many more exhibitors,” promised SWEA President Agneta Bekassy de Bekas.
On SWEA’s own stand, Vice President Erika Bjorklund and fellow Board Member Linda Wirstrom offered last minute tickets to the next major SWEA event, the Christmas party Saturday 29 November at Century Park Hotel. Deadline for joining this major event is this Tuesday, 18 November.
