Thailand’s national airline, Thai Airways International (THAI), plans to launch its new direct flights from Bangkok to Oslo three times a week, starting January 1, 2004.
The planned introduction of the new flights was advertised in Norway in Thailand, the year book of Thai-Norwegian Chamber of Commerce.
The airline currently flies Bangkok-Oslo route via European hubs, among them four times a week via Stockholm and five times a week via Copenhagen. With the new service, THAI claims to be the only airline to offer direct flights from Asia to Norway.
