Thursday evening Danfoss hosted a dinner for the Danish Crown Prince couple and Friday morning they made sure, that the royals could return safely back to Denmark.
It has been the intention all along that the royal couple were to fly back in a Danfoss plane together with the top management including director Jørgen M. Clausen. However problems occurred as the private plane was parked in Suvarnabhumi Airport, which has been occupied by demonstrators since Tuesday.
Luckily Danfoss Thursday succeeded in transporting the plane to a military airport, from where it could take off. It was the same airport from where the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Per Stig Møller, Thursday was transported to Nepal one day later than planned.
The Danfoss plane has room for 12 people and it is planned to make a stopover to refuel.
