A 202.4 billion VND project on construction of a television technical centre, funded by the Danish government’s ODA, started in the northern mountainous province of Son La on Dec. 6.
The project aims to improve the province’s capacity for producing TV programmes and expand the coverage areas.
The project will build a 15m antenna, a three-storey office building, a 350-seat studio and technical rooms.
A 76.94 m TV broadcast tower with a 1 kW generator will be built in Yen Chau district, which is expected to be put into operation in 2009.
