National Male Soccer Team to Contest in Thailand

Former European Champions Denmark will contest the annual King’s Cup Tournament later this month with hosts Thailand, North Korea and Lebanon.
Coach Morten Olsen has decided to bring five new names on the trip and spare the players, who have had a tough program in the fall. This includes players from AaB, who have had a rough Champions League program and who will be playing the UEFA Cup next year.
If FC Copenhagen reaches the 1/16 finales in the UEFA Cup, the players from this team will also be replaced.
The training trip will take place from January 15-25 2009, and the King’s Cup Tournament will take place from January 21-23 in the southern Thai island of Phuket.
