The popular Danish band Michael Learns To Rock reached No. 1 last week on the radio station 105.5 Easy FM chart in Bangkok. With the latest hit single ‘Sweetest Surprise’ from the band’s new album Eternity, MLTR has dethroned international superstars like Beyoncé, Craig David and Britney Spears from the number one spot.
The band – who celebrated their 20th anniversary last year – gained world-wide recognition with their 1991 super hit ‘The Actor’ has had a large fan base in the entire Southeast Asia ever since.
The album ‘Eternity’ was released in November in Thailand in connection with the band’s concert in Bangkok on the 26th of November.
