Danish choir-leader visits Hanoi

The conductor of the Danish Copenhagen Royal Chapel Choir, Ebbe Munk, will pay a five-day visit to Hanoi from February 16. During his five day stay, he will pay a visit at the Vietnam National Academy of Music, where he will lead a chapel choir performance.


Ebbe Munk is the founder of the Chamber Choir Vox Danica and has performed in many concerts in Europe and the US with both Vox Danica and Sankt Annæ Gymnasiekor, which he conducted from 1982 to 1991.


Since 1991, he has been the conductor of the Copenhagen Royal Chapel Choir, who won the first prize at the Concours International de Chant Choral in Narbonnein and was considered the best European chapel choir in 1992  by Le Figaro.


Ebbe Munk is invited by the Cultural Development and Exchange Fund, sponsored by the Danish embassy.
