At the annual general meeting of the Thai-Swedish Chamber of Commence, Belgium-born Roby Jansens of Atlas Copco Ltd. was unanimously elected as the new president for the board of governors.
“With 32 years of work-experience in a Swedish company I know quite a bit about the best practises along the Swedes”, the new president joked in his first speech as president for the TSCC.
In his evaluation of the activities of the previous year Executive Director of the board John Svengren emphasized the forming of a Nordic group in the joint work of all the Chamber of Commences in Thailand (FCCCC), musical event with the famous Swedish classic pianist Patrik Jablonski and the success by introducing the ‘Best Practices Guidelines’ within the Thailand Property Market, to potential investors in real estate in the country as the biggest succeses of the TSCC.
“More than 10.000 Swedes has bought a second home in Thailand and that statistic is only to increase, so it is essential that they get the best advises as possible”, John Svengren stated
Roby Jansens is to replace Hans O. Karlson, who served as the president of the TSCC board in the year of 2008. The former president was absent at the annual meeting due to an urgent meeting in Stockholm.
