After having been operating in Peru in a number of years the Danish NGO Axis now has started an education-programme in Nong Kiau in the northern part of Laos.
The aim of the programme is to send voluntary teachers out to the village – located about four hours by bus from the UNESCO-city of Luang Prabangto – teach English to the local teachers and members of the municipal administration – including the local mayor.
Axis is a Danish NGO founded in 1995. Its focus areas are education, organizational development and sustainable development.
