According to VietNamNet Bridge King Harald V of Norway has praised Vietnam’s great achievements in economy, the open-door foreign policy and international integration process.
Receiving Vietnamese Ambassador to Norway Vu Van Luu after the diplomat presented his credentials to him on April 23, King Harald V also spoke highly of Vietnam’s efforts to overcome difficulties in the global financial crisis to maintain economic growth and ensure social security.
The king expressed his pleasure at the fine development of Norway-Vietnam friendship and multifaceted cooperation. He said he believed that the two countries’ cooperation would further develop and expand.
Ambassador Luu thanked King Harald V for his fine sentiment toward the Vietnamese people as well as Norwegian government and people’s assistance to Vietnam in the renewal process and international integration.
