Chair and jewellery support cooperative farming in Thailand

The Stockholm based Danish designer and founder of Slowfashion house in the Swedish capital Rigetta Klint has decorated two Finn Juhl dining room chairs 108 from 1946. The Chairs are sold as a pair and the profit will go to a farming cooperative in the small town Bannongplalai in north-eastern Thailand.


Jewellery designer Lina Falkesgaard, who also participates at the exhibition in Stockholm, is the initiator of the project in Thailand.


During the latest years, Lina Falkesgaard has built a workshop and established education for a number of young people in Thailand. She is deeply committed to improving the living conditions of the 250 inhabitants in the city. The amount that comes in from the sale of the one off chairs will be doubled by Lina Falkesgaard as a matching grant.
