Olof Ohlsson, the Swedish priest at the Scandinavian Church in Bangkok from 1995 – 2000, his wife Marie and two children Filippa and Kajsa, have been assigned to establish a Church of Sweden in Florida.
Olof and Marie moved from Bangkok first to Halmstad in Sweden but are currently running the Scandinavian church in Sao Paolo in Brazil, including the churches in Rio de Janeiro and Buenos Aires.
”We still talk a lot about the time we spent in Thailand, 5 wonderful years,” says Olof.
“Hopefully it will be possible for us to visit you in the future.”
Olof Ohlsson will take up his new assignment on 1 October 2009.
