The economic decline is particularly hard on the tourist industry, but also quite advantageous for the tourists who now can enjoy massive fall in prices and discounts – especially in Singapore.
According to a Danish newspaper a survey from the Ovation Travel Group several cities has lowered their hotel-prices with up to one third. The survey states that Singapore is the country who has suffered the most for the financial decline, with a 35 percent decrease in the prices the small Southeast Asian country ranks number one on the undesirable list.
