Due to a downturn in luxury good sales the Danish pocelain-producer Royal Copenhagen is reducing its Danish based workforce by as much as a quarter.
Over a quarter of Royal Copenhagen’s employees in Denmark are being let go by the porcelain manufacturer, reports financial daily Børsen.
Of the 270 employees at the company’s Glostrup plant, 70 will be given laid off in August, according to Børsen. The company indicated that poor sales of top end products were the basis for the layoffs.
