President of Vietnam Nguyen Minh Triet has acknowledged Denmark as an important long-term partner that had helped Viet Nam achieve major national targets.
In his reception for the visiting Danish Director of Public Prosecutions, Jørgen Steen Sørensen, Triet said that many Denmark-assisted programmes in farming and industry development and poverty reduction had churned out positive results.
The President thanked Denmark for its support to Viet Nam, both in the past, during the war and now, in its nation building efforts the Danish public prosecutors had given Viet Nam in training prosecutors.
