Danish rugby team to compete for King’s Cup in Bangkok

Danish National Rugby Sevens Team will be participating in the 2nd King’s Cup International Rugby Sevens Tournament at the Army Stadium in Bangkok on November 29-30, 2003.
     Grouped in pool D together with teams from Hong Kong, Singapore and Korea, the Danish team will in the first round on November 29 play against these three teams at 12:00 noon, 2:40 pm and 6:10 pm respectively. All the matches in the deeper rounds and the final will take place on the second day of the tournament, starting 10:00 am.
     The 12 players joining the Danish National Rugby Sevens Team for the King’s Cup stand 177-195 cm. tall and weigh 72-98 kg. They will be led by British trainer Douglas Langley and accompanied by Physiotherapist Jens Erik.
     The King’s Cup International Rugby Sevens is an invitation tournament organized by the Thai Rugby Union <http://www.thairugby.com> under the Royal Patronage of His Majesty the King of Thailand. Altogether 16 teams will be competing for the cup this year.
