Chinese Turbine Company, Envision Energy Establish Center in Denmark

The new Global Innovation Center based in Silkeborg is the company’s first establishment outside of China. Envision Energy expects to employ up to ten people this year. Invest in Denmark has been in contact with Envision for two years, and played a major part in the company’s decision to establish its new department in Denmark.

Deputy Director of Invest in Denmark, Mr. Jon Thorgaard explains in yesterday’s financial newspaper Børsen: “These are busy times for the global relocation market. Today, companies search the globe for competences they do not have themselves, and when it comes to wind energy it is a world-known fact, that Denmark has a very high level of competences.“

In addition Mr. Thorgaard also says, “Foreign companies tell us that they are attracted to Denmark because of the high level of education together with the flexible labour market.”

In China, Envision Energy has already provided the country with 3-400 megawatt turbines in only two years, and ambitions are to enter the global market beginning with USA this year.
Envision Energy employs 150 people in China.
