The Annual Bazaar of Thai Red Cross Society arranged by the diplomatic wives was held at Siam Paragon, on the weekend of 27 to 28 Feb 2010.
Waltraud Sternberg, wife of the Danish Ambassador, reports:
“All together the Denmark Pavilion succeeded in raising a donation of 325,000 baht which is a great result for a small country.”
“I will present the donation to the Thai Red Cross Office towards the end of next week.”
The participants at the Denmark Booth were also big time supporters of the Raffles. They bought a total of 120 lottery tickets to a value of 6000 baht. The lucky draw took place on the morning of Thursday 18 March.
