Denmark Supports Yersin University in Tourism Training

Yersin University in Dalat City inaugurated a hotel-restaurant vocational training center on Tuesday under a project called Danisa sponsored by the Danish government.

The inauguration was attended by Peter Lyshoslt Hansen, Danish ambassador in Vietnam, the managing board of Yersin University, authorities of Lam Dong Province and leaders of the tourism sectors of neighboring provinces.

“Vietnam is a country with plentiful human resources which need to be trained methodically to contribute to sustainable economic development. That’s the reason Danisa sponsors this center,” said Hansen.

The center will train skills in reception, room service, waiting tables, bartending, cooking and English.

High school graduates nationwide may apply to study at the center. After finishing the course, students will get a certificate and be reimbursed the entire school fee by local government.

This project lasts until June.
