In the popular tourist town of Pattaya – far from unrest in Bangkok and Northern Thailand – a Danish man has lost his life in a traffic accident, informs the Danish news agency Ritzau.
The man, who is from Aarhus, was on vacation when the accident happened. Relatives of the man have been notified.
The accident happened a week ago. Serious traffic related accidents are very common in Thailand, and many Danes and other foreigners are often injured in the Thai traffic. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs writes this in their travel advisory for Thailand.
