The 26 Norwegian students from BI on exchange to Nanyang Technological University (NTU) held their graduation dinner on 11th May after spending their final year studying here in Singapore.
The students have completed their Bachelor (BSc) in International Marketing which involved studying for two years in the Norwegian School of Management (BI) in Norway before coming to Singapore to study at The Business School at NTU.
The Royal Norwegian Embassy’s First Secretary, Heidi Aakre, joined the graduation dinner which was held at The American Club. The students shared a slide show of their year in Singapore followed by speeches by both the faculty leadership and the First Secretary.
The cooperation between Norwegian business school BI and NTU which started in 1999 has resulted in both exchange of students and visiting professors. About 70 Singaporean students complete one semester of their Bachelor in Maritime Studies in Norway. In addition, the two universities collaborate to provide an Executive MBA in both Energy Management and in Shipping, Offshore & Finance.
